Poetry slams are fun, exciting events where poetry becomes entertainment. Poets battle it out for prizes and random audience members are judges!
Come on down... The next Slam event will be on Saturday 13 March at 7.30pm in the Foyer of the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre - hosted by WA performance poet Allan Boyd, aka the antipoet.
ARE YOU A POET?
We're looking for up to 20 contestants to battle it out with a two minute poem, with the winner decided by five randomly-chosen audience judges.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration is free. Sign up for the slam at www.bunburyslam.com or just turn up on the night before 7PM to sign up.
LIKE TO WATCH?
Audience tickets are $5 - available at the door. You may even get to be a judge!
