TICKETING

How can I book a ticket?

You can book online, over the phone or by visiting our Box Office. We accept payment by credit card (VISA or MasterCard), cash or gift vouchers.

Refunds and exchanges

BREC’s refund and exchange policy reflects the principles outlined in the Live Performance Australia (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice.

Tickets are not refundable. Refunds are only available as per the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice. You have the right to a refund (minus the booking fee) if the event to which you purchased an authorised ticket is cancelled, rescheduled (and you cannot attend the rescheduled event) or significantly relocated.

We do not give refunds or exchanges under any other circumstances including changing your mind, sickness, holidays or wanting to exchange tickets to the same performance on another date.

What happens if my performance is cancelled or postponed?

If the performance or event that you were scheduled to attend is cancelled or postponed, we will be in touch at the earliest opportunity via email and via SMS (where a mobile number is provided).

In the event of a cancellation, you will be given the option to either exchange your tickets to an alternative performance of the same show (where applicable), or receive a full refund.

Should your event be rescheduled, your booking will automatically be valid for the new date and time. If you’re unable to attend, you will be given the option to either exchange your tickets to an alternative performance (if applicable), or receive a refund minus the booking fee if requested within 28 days of notice of reschedule. No refunds or exchanges will be available after this period.

Will you be refunding my travel/hotel?

Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre is not liable for any additional expenses incurred by customers in the event of a cancelled performance.  Please contact your individual travel company/hotel directly.

Beware of Ticket Resellers

Tickets purchased via websites including Viagogo, eBay, Gumtree, Facebook, or any other unauthorised seller risk the possibility of being fake and void and may not be honoured by the venue. Tickets for all shows at BREC should always be purchased direct from our Box Office or from our website.

Companion Cards

BREC recognises the Companion Card for all performances. Companion Card holders will not be required to pay for tickets for their carer. Please let the Box Office know you have a Companion Card when you book your tickets.

Can my child sit on my knee?
Please check the individual show page information to find out if there is an age restriction for your event. Children under the age of 12 months do not require a ticket and must be seated on a parents lap. Children above this age are required to purchase a seat ticket. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the suitability of a performance for any children in their party, regardless of any official age recommendation guidance.

Concession/Pensioner Discount

Discounted ticket prices are available for

  • Commonwealth Seniors Health Card (Services Australia)
  • Pensioner Concession Card (Services Australia)
  • Health Care Card (Services Australia)
  • Full time students

Why is there a $3.50 booking fee?

The booking fee covers what it costs us to sell you the ticket, including Box Office staff wages, ticket stock, printing, internet charges and card fees. These used to all be separate fees, but we have now consolidated these to a single booking fee of $3.50, in keeping with the LPA ticketing Code of Practice.

Can I change my seats after completing my purchase?

You can change your seats to a performance once they have been booked. If the tickets have been paid for and you want to change them, we require the tickets to be returned to the Box Office and an exchange fee will apply to the new tickets. This fee varies for each performance, so please check with the Box Office team.

Can I lay-by my tickets?

Want to come to the show but can’t afford to pay for your ticket right now? Speak to our friendly box office team about reserving a ticket. Once your ticket is reserved the full amount will need to be paid one week prior to the performance or the reserved tickets will be released. Please be aware this service is not available for online purchases.

Is there a discount for group bookings?

On selected shows there is a group booking discount, which can be accessed when booking online or simply ask our Box Office team when booking in person or over the phone.
